Message from the President
As Operating Room Nurses we work in an environment that is ever changing. On top of this we live in a world that is rapidly changing with health care reform and economic issues. However, as nurses no matter what the world is like or what our work environment is like the one constant is the safety of our patients. We are constantly working to continue our education and learn about best practices to ensure we give each patient optimal care each time.
This year we will place an emphasis on continuing education, networking, and having a good time. We thank you for your commitment and participation in supporting the Charleston chapter of AORN and look forward to the year to come and meeting new faces. I look forward to seeing you at our meetings.
